Description

VIOGEN TIRZEPATIDE 10mg is a medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and for weight management. It belongs to a class of medications known as dual glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, or dual GIP/GLP-1 RAs, and mimics the action of both GIP and GLP-1 hormones released in the gut in response to food intake. It works by enhancing insulin secretion from the pancreas when blood sugar levels are elevated, reducing glucagon release, slowing gastric emptying, and promoting a decrease in appetite, which can lead to weight loss. Tirzepatide may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, allergic reactions, acute kidney injury, pancreatitis, gallbladder issues, diabetic retinopathy, and abnormal behaviors.
